At Island Books we have a  book discussion group that is open to anyone who would like to attend. We meet every 5 or 6 weeks on a Thursday evening at 6:30.  We primarily read fiction and our picks are most often a book that has gotten a lot of attention and is now hot off the press in paperback. At the current meetings we announce the next book and meeting dates. We also send out an e-newsletter announcing our next books for discussion.

There is no commitment on the part of the members to attend any or all meetings - that's the beauty of groups like ours - you can come when it suits you and not if it doesn't. Our meetings are very informal and are led by bookseller Pat Coussa who runs an amazing group.  We always have an eclectic mix of booklovers - both regulars and newcomers -- so please join us!
